I have a 2012 (08-12) MK7 fiesta edge with the silver 6 button stereo fascia, pictured (no Bluetooth). I desperately want bluetooth connectivity in the car (and DAB if possible). I bought a Sony mk7 stereo (DAB, but not Sat Nav) pulled from a 2012 fiesta mk7 (pictured) complete with screen, head unit and sync bluetooth module.
I have a 2012 Ford fiesta. Radio stopped working. There's a little green cog in one of the sides of the screen of the radio. On startup it gets stuck on the "Ford audio" entrance screen, but radio seems locked. I can access the phone on the menus, but radio button will do nothing.. Don't know what to do to get the radio going
1. Unplug The USB. Technology can be a finicky thing to deal with, so a simple solution of unplugging your USB can fix your Ford Sync USB issue. If your phone is connected to your Ford Sync via USB, just unplug the USB and wait a minute before you plug the USB back into the Ford Sync USB slot. 2.
1 - boot button on the dash doesnt work anymore. 2 - central locking flash not working anymore. These two problems seem to have arrived together. The remote still locks the car and unlocks it but when you are in the car and you press the handle in to lock the doors it wont lock the passenger door anymore and the indicators wont flash when

A test can be done to measure the voltage between the battery poles, check the
The general advice for Sync problems is to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes. This is probably a temporary fox though, as these cars have a very weak ground connection from the battery to the chassis. The problem is that the point where it connects to the chassis was painted before the ground bolt was attached.
I have a 2017 Ford Fiesta that we just bought from a suburu dealership. 73k miles on it, nothing wrong with it engine wise. Only struggle I have is trying to sync the phone up to the car. The phone button seems like it's not working on the car itself. I push it and nothing appears on the monitor.
Turn the vehicle off. The vehicle's engine should not be running, and the vehicle should not be in accessory mode. Note: Many newer vehicles will keep the radio on, even when the car is turned off until a door is opened. Open the driver's door and lock the door. Close the driver's door. Wait two minutes and ensure the radio display turns off.
